What is a cushioned lap tray? A cushioned lap tray combines a firm upper surface with a soft bean bag base. The cushion rests across the user’s lap while the tray provides a flatter surface for meals, drinks, reading, writing and other seated activities. These trays are particularly useful when relaxing on a sofa, armchair or bed and can be stored away when not in use. Funny lap trays for meals and relaxing A novelty lap tray can add some humour to everyday meals while helping support plates, cups and snacks. The raised outer edge should be shown clearly in the product photographs so customers can see the shape and usable surface. When using a tray with a laptop, follow the computer manufacturer’s guidance and ensure that ventilation openings are not covered. Funny lap trays as gifts Choose a design based on the recipient’s interests and sense of humour. Highland cow and farm-animal trays can suit countryside enthusiasts, suited wildlife designs offer a quirky contemporary look, and cheekier designs may be better suited to adult recipients. Funny lap trays can make practical birthday, Christmas, retirement and housewarming gifts because they combine an amusing picture with an everyday household use.
