How to clean your chopping board? Step 1. Begin by sprinkling sea salt evenly across the surface of the board. Step 2. Take a lemon and cut it in half. Gently rub the cut side of the lemon over the salt, using small circular motions that follow the grain of the board. Step 3. Allow the lemon and salt mixture to sit on the board for a duration of 5 minutes. Step 4. After the 5 minutes have passed, thoroughly rinse the board to remove all traces of salt. Ensure that the board is completely dry before using it again.
